Technical Project Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Developer to join our renewable energy team at Green Recruitment Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of wind and solar energy projects from site identification to construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and resource analysis to determine project viability.
  • Manage the permitting process, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop detailed project designs, including site layouts, equipment selection, and grid connection solutions.
  • Develop project budgets, perform financial analysis, and work closely with finance teams to secure project funding.
  • Liaise with landowners, local communities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to build strong relationships and secure project support.
  • Identify and manage relationships with key vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical reports, permits, and compliance records.
  • Track project progress, prepare status reports, and ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, with a focus on wind and solar energy.
  • Strong understanding of wind and solar energy technologies, project design, and grid integration.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory requirements for renewable energy projects.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, budgets, and timelines.
  • Experience in project financial modeling, budgeting, and securing project financing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate technical and regulatory challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and across different departments.
  • Proficient in project management software, GIS tools, and other relevant technical applications.
