About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Investment Manager to join our team at Statkraft, a leading company in the renewable energy sector. As an Investment Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in the wind and solar sector, and providing financial support to project development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the renewable energy market, including trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the wind and solar sector, including project development, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Provide financial support to project development teams, including financial modeling, valuation, and commercial advice.
- Work closely with project teams and other departments to ensure that all project assumptions are correctly reflected and that the business case is reliable and maximized.
- Analyze and model different project scenarios, including ownership structures, co-location of technologies, and different revenue streams.
- Manage M&A projects in cooperation with other departments and manage the relationship with investors in the renewable energy space.
Requirements
- University degree in finance, economics, or engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a bank, infrastructure investor, energy company, or consultancy.
- Excellent analytical skills and creative thinking to optimize project economics.
- Excellent financial modeling skills (MS Excel) and demonstrable valuation experience.
- Commercial awareness to handle negotiations, analyze transaction and legal documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage the workload.
- Reliability, professionalism, and integrity.
- Fluent Dutch and English. Additional languages a plus.
