Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Investment Manager to join our European Wind and Solar team in Amsterdam. As an Investment Manager, you will play a key role in providing investment and commercial services to Asset Owners in relation to project development, acquisitions, valuations, partnerships, and sell-down processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define business cases and set up project financial models, including various offtake alternatives.
- Work closely with project teams and other departments to ensure accurate project assumptions.
- Provide commercial advice to development teams and analyse project scenarios.
- Analyse, structure, and prepare documentation for project origination and execution.
- Manage M&A projects in cooperation with other departments.
- Manage relationships with investors in the renewable energy space.
Requirements
- University degree in finance, economics, or engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a bank, infrastructure investor, energy company, or consultancy.
- Excellent analytical skills and creative thinking to optimize project economics.
- Strong financial modelling skills and valuation experience.
- Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
