About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Team Lead to join our team at Six Robotics. As a key member of our Ground Control Station (GCS) team, you will be responsible for leading the development of critical control systems for autonomous UAV fleets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UX design team in the development of both backend and frontend systems for drone swarm management.
  • Collaborate closely with the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI) to ensure our solutions meet the highest functionality and security standards.
  • Guide the creation of a dynamic map-based interface and reliable backend architecture, ensuring seamless integration and communication between drones and their controllers.
  • Oversee the development of robust and intuitive control systems for drone swarms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading development teams, preferably in an aerospace, defense, or technology-focused organization.
  • Strong proficiency in backend and frontend development technologies, including:
    • Experience with Python and JavaScript.
    • Familiarity with React and
    • Knowledge of Docker, C#, and.NET 8.
    • Experience with REST API via ASP.NET Core.
    • Knowledge of WebSocket via SignalR is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with real-time systems and experience in developing interfaces for complex operational control.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  • Ability to pass security clearance per the Norwegian Security Act, «Sikkerhetsloven,» to work with our defense clients.
  • Residence and Norwegian citizenship.
