Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Vessel Superintendent to join our team at Leap29. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our vessels and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Readiness Campaigns: Develop and implement readiness campaigns for chartered vessels to ensure they are fully prepared for operations.
- Operational Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve daily operational issues on our vessels, working closely with internal stakeholders, onshore organizations, and marine partners.
- Vessel Support: Provide onshore support to our vessels as needed, ensuring that all necessary services are delivered promptly and efficiently.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with ship owners on technical, operational, and commercial matters, acting as the single point of contact for assigned vessels.
- Delivery and Redelivery: Manage the delivery and redelivery of vessels, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with EPCI project teams to ensure that vessel operations align with project requirements.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of vessel owners and ensure that duties under charter parties are carried out satisfactorily.
- Internal Services: Coordinate with internal services such as IT, HSEQ, procurement, and logistics to ensure that necessary services are delivered to support vessel operations.
- Modification Scopes: Plan, organize, and execute small modification scopes to ensure that vessels are maintained and upgraded as needed.
- General Support: Provide general support to the Commercial department and projects as required.
- Vessel Documentation: Ensure that all vessel documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Client Approvals: Ensure that client approvals and vessel assurance are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of vessel operations and management.
