Oslo, Oslo County, Norway Helse Sør-øst RHF Full time

Liver Metastasis in CRC:

Liver metastasis drives colorectal cancer mortality, yet the functional and molecular shifts enabling metastatic fitness remain poorly understood. Our project aims to bridge dynamic phenotypes with patient outcomes to uncover mechanisms of therapy resistance and inform precision oncology strategies.

Project Objectives:

  • To dissect molecular and phenotypic differences between primary tumors and liver metastases.
  • To integrate cutting-edge methodologies with clinical data from the SYLMET trial.
  • To uncover mechanisms of metastatic adaptation and identify biomarkers for personalized therapy.

Research Environment:

The Cell and Tissue Dynamics Group at Oslo University Hospital provides a stimulating work environment with access to top modern and excellent lab facilities. Our team is committed to advancing the understanding of complex diseases through interdisciplinary research collaborations.
