Jefferson Wells ManpowerGroup is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Manager to join our team in Oslo.

The ideal candidate will have approximately five years of experience with advanced process control systems such as Simatic PCS7 or similar, and a strong background in automation engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project documentation such as functional descriptions and testing procedures for process control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and legislation by evaluating and approving documentation from subcontractors.
  • Perform on-site testing and participate in offshore commissioning to monitor and report progress on assigned work packages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Cybernetics, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience with PLC-based process control systems.
  • Experience with advanced control systems such as PCS7 or similar is essential.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding system control diagrams (SCD).
  • Experience with Comos is highly advantageous.
  • Background in EICT projects in the oil and gas sector is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as NORSOK is beneficial.
