Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Norwegian finance team, driving financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. This role involves managing the financial performance of our Norwegian legal and group entities, overseeing cash forecasting, VAT filings, and statutory reporting. The successful candidate will have expertise in compliance, audits, and statutory filings, with a strong understanding of Norwegian GAAP and IFRS knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a small, high-performing finance team in Norway, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Oversee smooth and accurate monthly and year-end closes, ensuring timely submission of financial reports.
  • Streamline accounting operations to ensure efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage cash forecasting, VAT filings, and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work alongside the Senior Finance Manager and global finance team to shape accounting policies across the group.
  • Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, and internal teams to achieve financial excellence.
Requirements
  • Certified accountant in Norway (or equivalent) with expertise in compliance, audits, and statutory filings.
  • Strong understanding of Norwegian GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
  • Broad industry knowledge, preferably in the energy sector or other fast-growing industries.
  • Process improvement guru with experience optimizing workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using accounting tools and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Meticulous and organized with attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem solver able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
