About the Role

As a Senior Commercial Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the details and optimizing our sales processes, enhancing operational efficiency and driving the performance of our commercial team. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing Operations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support the achievement of strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to developing, maintaining, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Sales and Commercial Operations to monitor success and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Drive the design and implementation of streamlined commercial operations processes, ensuring global standardization and efficiency.
  3. Lead communication and training efforts for the commercial team on processes and systems, including onboarding improvements and knowledge retention and upskilling across teams.
  4. Standardize regional mediums within the commercial team to share best practices globally.
  5. Identify opportunities for improvement in CRM and internal commercial systems, and evaluate potential new solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  6. Manage sales funnels, measure activity and compliance, and monitor forecasting performance to support business goals.
  7. Facilitate the connection between regional commercial teams and global leadership by assisting with training, win/loss analysis, competitive intelligence, and client segmentation.
  8. Implement sales strategies developed by global and regional commercial leadership to ensure alignment and execution.
  9. Assess pricing discipline and recommend product and service pricing guidelines to commercial leadership.
  10. Perform gap analyses and collaborate with regional commercial leadership to develop viable solutions for addressing challenges.
  11. Coordinate regular Sales Business Reviews with global and regional leadership to ensure alignment and progress tracking.
  12. Collaborate with global marketing teams on client segmentation, commercial reporting analysis, and lead generation attribution linked to marketing campaigns.
  13. Work with other Sales and Marketing Operations functions on initiatives to enhance sales performance, client services, and internal processes.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of relevant work experience in commercial operations, sales enablement or client management.
  3. Proven track record in designing and delivering sales enablement programs.
  4. Experience in the energy industry is preferred but not required.
  5. Experience working internationally is advantageous.
  6. Familiarity with CRM platforms and business intelligence tools.
  7. Ability to operate independently and efficiently, take initiatives and exercise sound business judgment to drive performance.
  8. Team player capable of managing multiple stakeholders with diverse opinions and commercial objectives.
  9. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  10. Strong project management and multitasking capabilities.
  11. Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interacting with all seniority levels.
