Job Title: Telecom/Senior Engineer - Wind Oslo

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom/Senior Engineer to join our team at Techconsult AS. As a Telecom/Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and specifying design solutions for required telecom subsystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Specification: Define and specify design solutions for required telecom subsystems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNVGL, and IEC.
  2. Vendor Management: Follow up telecom vendors and vendor technical documentation to ensure timely and accurate delivery of required materials.
  3. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Interface with other disciplines, suppliers, other installations, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Engineering Documentation: Develop engineering documents and update data registers to ensure accurate and up-to-date project information.
  5. Test and Review: Participate in relevant test activities, workshops, and reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  6. Site Support: Provide site support to fabrication yards to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree or relevant technical education.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in Telecom engineering and telecom system design activities within greenfield oil and gas or wind projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
  3. Skills: Experience and deep knowledge of telecom design according to relevant standards, efficient communication skills, and ability to work in a multicultural team environment.
  4. Personal Qualities: Cooperative working attitude, ability to work independently, systematic and accurate, proactive, and innovative approach.
