Job Description

We are planning to strengthen our energetic, ambitious, and enthusiastic control systems teams with more Project Engineers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver control systems to a variety of highly innovative integrated electrical systems, including battery hybrid, dual fuel engines, and full electric solutions to both newbuild ships and retrofit upgrades.
  • Control and safety systems engineering.
  • Integration of electric propulsion systems.
  • Programming of SCADA/PLC systems.
  • Data networks and cyber security.
  • Simulation, testing, and documentation.
  • Teamwork in an international environment.
  • Responsibility for own customer projects.
Requirements
  • Preferably hold a bachelor's degree in electrical power or be an automatic operator/ship's electrician with relevant experience.
  • Good software programming skills.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like C#, C/C++ is a benefit, but not required.
  • Ability to work systematically with high quality in mind.
  • Good language skills in both spoken and written English.
  • Language skills in Norwegian is a benefit, but not required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
About the Role

This is a permanent position for the SES team located in Stord, Norway.
