About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Product Developer who will be responsible for the engineering of work chairs with smart and innovative technical solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of product development, prototyping, testing, and engineering.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Development, prototyping, testing, and engineering of products, mechanisms, and solutions
  • Integrated product development in cross-functional teams
  • Engineering of thermoplastics, cast and extruded aluminium, formed steel, and assemblies
  • Solidworks CAD modelling, from concept idea to industrialized product
  • FEM analysis (Solidworks plugin)
  • Assembly & testing of prototypes
  • Tooling and industrialization follow-up

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Relevant educational background (MSc mechanical engineering or similar)
  • Experience in parametric 3D modelling of complex components and assemblies
  • Experience with 2D drafting of production drawings
  • Experience with moulded components (cast aluminium/thermoplastics/other)
  • Proficient in one of the Nordic languages and in English

Salary Range: NOK 800,000 - 1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
