Lead Quality Initiatives Across Our Global Organization

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team at Star Information Systems. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our quality management plan, processes, and workflows across the entire company.

With a strong background in quality management, you will lead the charge in fostering a culture where quality awareness is ingrained in every aspect of our organization. This is a critical role that requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and influence others across all levels of the organization.

In this role, you will work closely with our operations, R&D, product development, sales and marketing, and corporate office teams to ensure that we operate efficiently, correctly, and intelligently to deliver outstanding solutions to our customers. You will also assist our consultants in client engagements and projects, and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to achieve our goals and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage our quality management plan, processes, and workflows across the organization.
  • Oversee quality in both delivery and development projects, ensuring that products and services meet our own and customer quality expectations, while maintaining compliance with current norms, regulations, and requirements.
  • Establish and execute annual quality plans, and drive continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and the transfer of experience within the organization.
  • Manage all inspections and audits, and address and follow up on incidents – internally and with customers – ensuring that deviations and improvement suggestions are documented and appropriately handled.
  • Support project managers with quality-related activities in project and tender work.
  • Assist the organization with preventive risk management and ensure processes deliver solutions with the right quality, on time, while actively improving quality across the value chain.
  • Establish and report on key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Organizational Development, or related fields. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in quality management, with a proven track record in leading and establishing large-scale quality management projects.
  • Experience of working in IT and consultancy organizations, alternatively in the maritime or energy sectors, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific norms.
  • Strong understanding of quality processes and workflows across business units.
  • Fluency in both Norwegian and English is required.
