ROV Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ROV Supervisor to join our team at DeepOcean. As a key member of our offshore leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the ROV team and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of ROV operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ROV team and be part of the offshore leadership team, working closely with the Shift Supervisor and Deck Supervisor.
  • Ensure ROV operations are carried out in accordance with current regulations, client requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Act as ROV pilot during operations and assist in the launch and recovery of ROV systems.
  • Perform repairs and routine maintenance on ROVs and sensors.
  • Maintain an overview of planned operations and ensure ROV systems are in good condition, maintained, and calibrated for operation.
  • Monitor and report on potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure high safety standards and effective execution.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure clear communication and a high level of awareness of all activities during operations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for technical and operational improvements and innovations.
  • Motivate and support team members to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ROV operations, preferably in a technician or pilot role.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with ROV systems.
  • Specific experience in operations involving survey, construction, IMR, decommissioning, and subsea inspection.
