About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled License Specialist to join our team at The Qt Company. As a License Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers' compliance with Qt's licensing terms and conditions.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Educate customers on licensing requirements and best practices
  • Ensure customer compliance with Qt software licensing terms and conditions
  • Conduct license compliance audits
  • Collaborate with internal teams on process identification and escalation
  • Perform data analysis on Qt usage and report on license management activities
  • Provide excellent customer service and work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Handle standard compliance cases independently
  • Collaborate with Sales and Legal teams on cross-team compliance matters
About You:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business, law, or a relevant field
  • Multiple years of experience using Microsoft Office, including PowerBI and Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus
  • Audit experience is highly valued
  • Familiarity with software development tools, including IDEs and code repositories
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detailed-oriented and outstanding follow-through skills
  • A high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Ability to handle multiple, high-urgency requests reliably and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with open-source software, third-party licensing, open-source approval processes, or license compliance governance is highly valued
