About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator to join our team at Fugro. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and delivery of high-quality technical and commercial proposals and quotes to meet our clients' needs across the Europe-Africa region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tender Document Review: Review tender documents to accurately assess client requirements and needs.
  • Liaison and Coordination: Liaise with relevant Fugro personnel, departments, and external suppliers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Proposal Development: Generate prequalification documents and coordinate the tender submission preparation process, including control of internal tender documentation.
  • Quote Generation and Purchase Order Workflow: Assist the aftersale function in generating quotes and coordinating the purchase order workflow.
  • Commercial Support: Assist the sales function of the Commercial Department and marketing/promotional activities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Assist the sales function along the L2C process using Fugro's Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Client Vendor Portal Registrations: Register clients with the vendor portal.
Requirements
  • Commercial Experience: Job experience with international tenders is an advantage.
  • Education: Education in technical/scientific subjects (e.g. oceanography, meteorology, mathematics, physics, marine sciences or similar) is an advantage but not essential.
  • Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of Norwegian and English language (verbal and written).
  • Administrative Skills: Strong administrative skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to details.
  • Time Management: Ability to make priorities and work well to demanding deadlines under pressure.
  • Pro-Active Approach: Pro-active, positive, and flexible approach to work.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
