As a Procurement Logistic Responsible, you will work closely with Procurement and Construction to ensure smooth logistical operations. Your main responsibilities include:
- Material Administration & Start-up Activities: Identify project logistics needs and establish necessary strategies, including SAP configuration, procurement templates, warehouse coordination, subcontractor management, reporting routines, freight forwarding needs, customs handling, and transportation costs.
- Free Issue Materials Coordination: Ensure controlled handling of materials from delivery to utilization for their intended purpose.
- Transportation Management: Develop responsibility matrix for material release and finalize agreements with freight forwarders.
- Material Availability Monitoring: Track material balances by type and task to maintain workflow according to plan.
- Project Closure: Conduct material reconciliation at procurement package and project levels.
- Surplus Management: Identify and recommend surplus handling strategies, ensuring approval by relevant material owners (typically Customers or Project Managers).
- SAP Closing: Participate in project closure activities, clearing out logistic purchase orders, stock transfer orders, requisitions, stock balances, and reservations.
