As a Procurement Logistic Responsible, you will work closely with Procurement and Construction to ensure smooth logistical operations. Your main responsibilities include:
  1. Material Administration & Start-up Activities: Identify project logistics needs and establish necessary strategies, including SAP configuration, procurement templates, warehouse coordination, subcontractor management, reporting routines, freight forwarding needs, customs handling, and transportation costs.
  2. Free Issue Materials Coordination: Ensure controlled handling of materials from delivery to utilization for their intended purpose.
  3. Transportation Management: Develop responsibility matrix for material release and finalize agreements with freight forwarders.
  4. Material Availability Monitoring: Track material balances by type and task to maintain workflow according to plan.
  5. Project Closure: Conduct material reconciliation at procurement package and project levels.
  6. Surplus Management: Identify and recommend surplus handling strategies, ensuring approval by relevant material owners (typically Customers or Project Managers).
  7. SAP Closing: Participate in project closure activities, clearing out logistic purchase orders, stock transfer orders, requisitions, stock balances, and reservations.
