Key Responsibilities- Monitor and Analyze Regulatory Trends: Monitor and analyze relevant policy developments, legislative changes, and regulatory trends in the Nordics that could impact Nexi's business.
- Provide Strategic Advice: Provide timely and strategic advice to senior management on potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, regulators, industry associations, and other relevant entities.
- Represent Nexi: Represent Nexi at industry events, conferences, and meetings to advocate for the company's interests.
- Collaborate with Regional Teams: Collaborate closely with the Chief Regional Officer to ensure alignment of public affairs strategies with regional business objectives.
- Craft Compelling Messages: Craft and deliver compelling messages to influence public policy and regulatory outcomes in alignment with Nexi's business objectives.
- Prepare Briefing Materials: Prepare briefing materials, position papers, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and corporate communications, to ensure a cohesive approach to public affairs.
- Support Public Affairs Strategy: Support the Head of Group Public Affairs in executing the overall public affairs strategy for the Nordics.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services or technology sectors.
- Skills: Proven track record of successful stakeholder engagement and advocacy in the Nordics. Strong understanding of the political and regulatory landscape in the Nordics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English and at least one Nordic language (Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, or Danish).
