About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner to join our Kongsberg Maritime Automation & Control division. As a key member of our Program Management Office (PMO), you will be responsible for providing project planning and controlling services to project owners and managers across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Execution: Establish and maintain project plans for the execution of work, covering schedule, manpower, and progress, in accordance with Kongsberg Maritime standard planning methods.
  2. Schedule Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze schedule progress, manpower needs, and assist in analysis against baseline plan and current plan.
  3. Forecasting and Corrective Actions: Prepare and maintain forecast schedule and initiate corrective actions when this schedule deviates from current plan.
  4. Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports for the Project Manager, including consolidated project schedule, summary updates, and S-curves.
  5. Variation Order Management: Participate in preparation of Variation Order Requests and implement accepted Variation Orders with regards to schedule, manpower, and cost plans.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Technical and/or commercial education (Bachelor or similar relevant higher education). Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
  2. Project Planning and Control: At least 3 years of experience as a planner, preferably from maritime or offshore industry.
  3. Project Management Knowledge: Proven understanding of Project Management and Project Control techniques and standards.
  4. Technical Skills: Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft-based business and project management applications.
  5. Language Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English languages.
