As our Retail Sales Consultant at Estée Lauder Companies, you will be responsible for ensuring our brands maintain a strong position in the market. You will visit and work closely with our retailers and staff to ensure that product knowledge, sales concepts, and the DNA of our brands reach every single employee. You will be responsible for creating and implementing business strategies to recruit and retain both new and loyal customers, contribute to in-store events and campaigns, and closely monitor the results of your district.

You will report to our District Manager and will be part of a team of 8 other consultants located in the largest cities in Norway. This is a 100% position based in Bergen with a desired start date of January 1, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work to achieve budget per store, per month, and year, and follow up with each store and their budget
  • Closely monitor selected retailers in the Stor-Oslo region
  • Ensure that our brands receive a strong focus with both store managers and employees
  • Provide general training to employees on products, sales techniques, and make-up skills
  • Plan and execute workshops and in-store customer events
  • Actively participate in regional meetings, activities, and all necessary training within product knowledge and self-development
Qualifications:
  • You are an experienced beauty expert in make-up, fragrance, or skincare
  • You have good economic and mathematical understanding of analysis and follow-up of budgets at store and district levels
  • You have experience in analyzing and following up on key figures (sales index, budgets) and identifying opportunities and improvement potential
  • You are a coach in your approach. You are motivated by developing those around you and know that to succeed, you must create results through others
  • You are fluent in Norwegian and English, both verbally and in writing
  • You have good knowledge of the Office package (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • You are familiar with social media such as Instagram and TikTok, and are experienced in creating content
  • You have a valid class B driver's license
