The Role
As a
Mainframe zSecurity System Administrator
at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There's never a typical day as a
Mainframe zSecurity System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for mainframe environments, compliance, auditing and health check support, providing requested reports on behalf of the customer
• Renewal and implementation of certificates in mainframe environments
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of mainframe operations
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements

We are looking for a skilled
Mainframe zSecurity Systems Administrator
with ideally 5 years or more of relevant experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Ideally 5 years or more of experience in mainframe security administration
• Expertise in ACF2 and RACF administration, including user management, access control, and security policy implementation
• Knowledge of mainframe security principles and practices
• Understanding of mainframe systems (z/OS)
• Security tools and technologies used in mainframe environments
• Proficient in English

Nice to have:

• Other mainframe security products such as Top Secret
• Encryption technologies and data protection methods
• Regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX
