  • Position: Assistant Driller.
  • Project: Various Offshore Drilling Projects.
  • Location: Worldwide.
  • Rotation: 28/28 (on/off).
  • Salary: Please provide your realistic salary expectations when applying. Final compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates. Consolidated monthly.
  • Bonus: 2025 Bonus Scheme: 15% bonus for every day worked.

Requirements / Qualifications / Competence:

  • Mandatory experience on drillships, with proficiency in the NOVOS system.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Drilling Industry (within the last 10 years).
  • At least 2 years of experience as Assistant Driller on a MODU.
  • Valid or expired IWCF (or equivalent) well control certification (required level).
  • Solid knowledge of drilling tools, mud systems, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond rapidly in high-pressure situations.
  • Physically fit to work long shifts in demanding offshore conditions.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, adherence to operational procedures, and safety practices.
  • Basic mechanical and equipment maintenance skills.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Tasks:

  • Operate and supervise rig floor equipment under the Driller's supervision.
  • Monitor drilling progress, mud systems, and pump operations for optimal performance.
  • Assist in connecting/disconnecting drill pipes, casing, and downhole tools.
  • Perform visual inspections and routine maintenance on drilling machinery and safety systems.
  • Accurately record and report operational data (e.g., pressures, depths, equipment status).
  • Support the Driller in managing crew during drilling, tripping, and other operations.
  • Participate in safety drills, inspections, and pre-job safety meetings.
  • Maintain clean and organized working areas on the drill floor and related spaces.
  • Communicate clearly with the Driller, Derrickman, and other team members.
