  • Job Title: Derrickman L2.
  • Project: Various Offshore Drilling Projects.
  • Location: Worldwide.
  • Duration: 12 months (renewable).
  • Rotation: 28/28 (working/on leave).
  • Salary: EUR 8380 Consolidated monthly.
  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Insurance: Provided by the company.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Prior experience working on drilling rigs or similar heavy industrial sites.
  • Strong understanding of drilling fluids, mud systems, and rig safety protocols.
  • Physically fit; capable of working at heights and in all weather conditions.
  • Valid BOSIET Certificate.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with rig equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Willingness to work extended shifts and rotational schedules.
  • English proficiency.

Tasks:

  • Handle drill pipe and tools during tripping operations.
  • Mix and test drilling fluids to maintain correct viscosity and weight.
  • Operate valves, pumps, and agitators related to the mud system.
  • Clean and maintain mud tanks, shale shakers, and lines.
  • Grease and inspect crown, traveling block, and derrick equipment.
  • Secure stands of pipe in the fingerboard while tripping.
  • Record mud readings, equipment checks, and maintenance logs.
  • Prepare the derrick for weather changes or equipment inspections.
  • Assist with general rig housekeeping and maintenance as needed.
