As we continue to scale our business, both commercially and technically, we are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded Commercial Solutions Engineer to bridge the gap between sales and engineering by designing, demonstrating, and implementing technology solutions for clients. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring effective sales and onboarding processes, while taking a key role in development of secure and scalable AI & cloud services and fostering a culture of experimentation, innovation and collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be the partner to the Head of Technology and Head of Business Development, driving the technical part of business and solution development, customer onboarding and contribute to platform development.
  • Actively participate in customer meetings, to understand business challenges and technical requirements and provide technical expertise throughout the process.
  • Act as the technical expert for the sales team, answering complex technical questions from clients and helping to overcome technical objections.
  • Develop technical presentations and demos, to showcase existing services and demonstrate proposed solutions, to meet client business goals.
  • Identify and implement proof-of-concept solutions, to secure fast time to market and scalable offerings.
  • Create solution designs to adapt company offering to customers specific needs, including design documents and solution design.
  • Assist with post-sale technical issues, ensuring a successful deployment and helping to onboard customers, covering telecom, cloud and AI infrastructure.
  • Actively engage in technical development, architecture and documentation together with technical team and partners.

Who are we looking for?

  • Expertise in AI, cloud, and on-premises infrastructure, including lifecycle management and optimization.
  • Proven ability to independently drive technical solution sales and act as the technical expert for the business development team.
  • Assist with post-sale technical issues, ensuring successful deployment and onboarding of customers aligned with security and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical experience, showcasing successful teamwork and strong knowledge in AI, cloud, security and networking solutions with strong security requirements.
  • Technical competence on cloud related tools such as Kubernetes/Openshift, IAM, KMS, EDR, Firewalling, VPN, Infrastructure as Code, Ansible, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, GPUs.
  • Confidence and experience in working alongside and closely with commercial teams ideally from industry verticals such as public sector (defense, health, police), energy/utilities, and regulated industries.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to contribute to service development, including programming and architecture skills, as well as knowledge in areas like cloud, software engineering or computer science.
  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
