Job Description

Are you interested in working within the fast-moving space of sustainability reporting? Then this could be the role for you.

With Statkraft, you’ll be part of the corporate sustainability team responsible for interpreting and preparing Statkraft for reporting in line with the CSRD and ESRS standards, and other reporting frameworks. There are several dedicated resources to the sustainability annual reporting process in the corporate team, and you will play a key role in coordinating different deliverables of the qualitative sustainability reporting, helping design new and improved processes, and providing practical support to colleagues across our exciting renewable energy business.

As a Senior Advisor in the Corporate Sustainability team, you will support:

  • The development of the sustainability content of our annual and quarterly reporting – ensuring a high-quality final product.
  • The assessments for the EU Taxonomy, including substantial contribution, DNHS and minimum safeguards criteria.
  • Potential updates and improvements of our other disclosures, e.g., on www.statkraft.com.
  • Collaboration with the business area specific initiatives to improve sustainability reporting and disclosures.
  • Interpretation of relevant emerging regulations and other reporting related frameworks.
  • Coordination and collaboration with our financial reporting colleagues and our external auditor.

Qualifications

We look for someone with a master’s degree or similar and hands-on experience from sustainability reporting and with the CSRD/ESRS. You have a good grasp of how to run complex processes, while at the same time having attention to detail and a high-quality result. That includes knowledge of:

  • Corporate level sustainability reporting, including developing and delivering qualitative and quantitative content to the Annual Report and other disclosures, and verification of content with the external auditor.
  • Understanding and interpretation of CSRD/ESRS, and implement them in the organisation.
  • Taxonomy reporting, including translating the sustainability requirements into relevant processes, reporting and documentation setup.
  • Practical application of key standards and frameworks, including but not limited to GRI, TCFD, CDP, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, as well as sustainability certification such as Sustainalytics and EcoVadis.
  • Practical initiatives of reporting uplift, involving analysis, planning, change management, system and process development, training, and tools.
  • Internal stakeholder engagement and facilitation of processes.

Experiences in these areas are also useful in your role:

  • Financial reporting and/or close collaboration with financial reporting colleagues.
  • Presenting and communicating effectively on sustainability reporting topics.
  • Self-driven, comfortable with high work pressure and a positive team player.

A 12 month temporary position filling in for someone in maternity leave with an international, diverse and highly-competent team in a large renewable company.
