About the Role

Hurtigruten Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team on a 12-month interim basis. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal advice and guidance to support the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contracting processes, third-party vendors, and internal business practices.
  2. Contract Negotiation: Assist in creating and improving agreements and templates, and advise business units on legal issues related to contract negotiations.
  3. Legal Advice: Provide expert legal advice on employment law, whistleblowing cases, GDPR, and other regulatory matters.
  4. Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance and administration for the group companies, including supervising outside counsel.
  5. Permitting and Licensing: Assist in the permitting and licensing processes for our sailings.
  6. Guest Relations: Support the guest relations team in handling customer claims and providing legal advice on Package Tour Act matters.
Requirements
  1. Education: Master's degree in Law with strong academic results.
  2. Experience: 3-4 years' experience working as an attorney in a commercial law firm and/or as in-house counsel.
  3. Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian, with experience in employment law, whistleblowing cases, and/or GDPR.
