In this position you will be leading, developing, and growing a team of professional consultants. You will also be actively involved in developing and implementing the department’s strategy and contribute to the business development and service development activities targeting specialist client representatives as well as C-suite level decision makers.

You would be responsible for the sales growth, team building, business development, skills development, and delivery of a range of new services within Advisory & Assurance. You would have full people responsibility – hiring, performance management, definition of development opportunities and training needs. You assume sales leadership to enable your team to reach their sales targets and you will have your own sales target. Structuring deliveries together with your team and our colleagues around the globe.  You would own full P&L responsibility for the services in the Nordics, including budgeting and performance tracking.  You would be leading the continuous development of processes and procedures in relation to Assurance Services, also in collaboration with the Global ESG Director and our global technical assurance functions.

Key KPIs

A collaborative sales target and delivery target commensurate with the above structural responsibilities. Team leadership and engagement measured via frequent Peakon surveys among your team members. Achieve target of fully chargeable deliverable days equivalent to 20% of a working year for yourself and ensure the target for your entire team is achieved. Accuracy of forecast in relation to Profit & Loss statement results and operational control measurements. Customer satisfaction would be measured by our internal score card.

You would be part of the Leadership team for the Nordic ESG Practice in SCPA (Supply Chain & Product Assurance) to support, develop and implement the business strategy for ESG services across Sweden, Denmark and Norway as well as, when appropriate, Finland. 

As this role covers activities with our clients in the Area North Europe, your location could be any of the Nordic capitals. 

You bring extensive professional experience in the advisory or assurance arena, gained preferably in consulting roles with strong client exposure and commercial responsibility. You might have equivalent experience in a leading corporate role. Sustainability is part of your DNA and you have had exposure to client engagements with a focus in fields such as Double Materiality, Life Cycle Analysis, Second Party Opinions, Product Claim assurance or Green Finance. You have successfully opened senior decision makers for ESG or Sustainability dialogue and can drive the sales process with your own team as well as with other departments and business areas.  You have built and led teams and individuals as a line manager, taking full responsibility for the team and individual development.  You have had experience in owning the commercial success of your team in a consulting or assurance environment.  You are educated at Masters level in Management, Engineering or a related field, preferably with formal education related to environmental or social aspects of corporate activity.
