As a graduate at Equinor, you’ll be joining 21,000 colleagues delivering oil, gas, wind, and solar power to 170 million people worldwide. By 2050, we aim to become a net-zero company and deliver the energy the world needs without contributing to global warming. It’s one of the defining challenges of our time and attracting and developing the brightest minds will be critical to our success.

The programme lasts for 2-years and includes rotations of 3-12 months across functions, business areas or locations.


The position

Finance & Control (F&C) is the driving force behind performance and the creation of greater value in Equinor. You’ll be part of the team that ensures financing and are responsible for financial information both internally and externally.

We provide professional support and advice towards business units and corporate executive management, represent Equinor in the financial markets and are responsible for interactions towards equity analysts and investors. F&C is also responsible for tax, risk management and investor relations.


When joining our team in Finance & Control you will have the opportunity to work within:

Investment and portfolio analysis Performance management Financing, capital distribution, financial risk management, cash management, and compliance & control Accounting, financial reporting and financial compliance including verification activities Business architecture, business analytics and digitalization Tax Risk management Digitalization We are looking for graduates suited to meet the increased demand for digital competence. Candidates with specializations or experience within computer science, data analytics and digitalization are encouraged to apply.

Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record.  Completed degree by the year of starting (2024). Fluent in English. No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience. Formal experience is not a requirement . Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage.
