Oslo, Oslo County, Norway Boston Consulting Group Full time

Who We Are

Boston Consulting Group collaborates with leaders in business and society to tackle their most critical challenges and seize their greatest opportunities. BCG, a pioneering company in business strategy since 1963, currently assists clients in achieving total transformation - promoting complex change, facilitating organizational growth, establishing competitive advantage, and enhancing bottom-line impact.

What You'll Do

As an intern at BCG, you will work alongside a cross-functional team for 6-8 weeks to address clients' most urgent issues, delivering significant solutions collectively. Your role involves active participation in casework, where you will manage your own module or tasks such as data gathering, model development, engaging with client stakeholders, and presenting solutions to clients.

Throughout your internship, you will receive guidance and feedback from a member of your case team. Additionally, participating in team events and social activities will provide insight into the people and culture at BCG. To ensure your success, you will undergo training sessions at the beginning of your internship to equip you with the necessary tools for a successful learning experience.

  • Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to tackle client challenges.
  • Analyze data, form hypotheses, and create actionable recommendations.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, present findings, and drive implementation.
  • Lead independent workstreams, contributing to the overall project success.

What You'll Bring

BCG values diverse perspectives from individuals with various backgrounds. While there is no specific profile we seek, all BCG candidates share a passion for problem-solving, adaptability to ambiguity, and the drive to overcome challenges.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with availability for a full-time internship throughout the year.
  • Strong analytical skills for quantitative problem-solving, paired with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking abilities to assess information, make informed decisions, and devise innovative solutions.
  • Comfort working in dynamic environments with diverse projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams and adjust to changing environments.

Additional Information

After the Internship: Following your internship, there is a possibility of a full-time position at BCG upon completing your studies.
