We deliver EPCI turnkey projects anywhere in the world. This means we have the best tools, equipment and people with competence and skillset to install and service those cables.

WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM

The Quality team is a global team with most team members located in Norway, France, Belgium and the USA. Our team is responsible for the Quality Management System and the Quality support related to Nexans G&T activities. The workplace is Oslo or Halden – other locations to be agreed upon. You will be reporting to the Quality Vice President.

GETTING A FLYING START

To succeed in Process System Management, you have solid experience from a project and production environment. You have experience with process mapping and process management. You have worked in companies that have a global footprint and were involved in activities related to quality management. You have experience working in a matrix organization, domestically and internationally. Ideally, your experience is related to power generation and transportation. You will be comfortable with an e-environment as well as quality and safety topics. You have experience in leading cross-functional teamwork and have a track record of implementing changes through your natural leadership and structured thinking.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

You will work in cross-functional teams as Quality Process & System Manager on process definition, mapping, and management. To do this, you will coordinate the activities of the Process Managers across the various disciplines to ensure that simple and efficient processes are defined and implemented. You will lead harmonization and training initiatives both locally and internationally. You will develop training material and deliver key training yourself. With your auditing skills, you will spot-check that the defined processes are being followed. In addition, you will coordinate the ISO Quality certification of Nexans G&T. You may also participate in continuous improvement initiatives and take part in technical improvements relevant to our department. You will have a strong impact by actively promoting Quality and Health & Safety.

YOUR STARTING POINT

  • 2 years of experience in the area of Quality or Quality-related activities
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a global industrial business
  • In this role, the likelihood of succeeding will increase if you have the ability to project manage initiatives and look at processes with a lean management perspective.
  • As we work with process mapping tools and document libraries, it is important to be comfortable with diverse software and e-tools.
  • In Nexans, we work in teams and are driven by project execution; therefore, being able to hold schedules and having collaboration skills is of utmost importance.
  • Fluent in English, – oral and written; Norwegian is a plus.
  • Your personal values are aligned to those of Nexans: Pioneer, Dedicated, United.

At the individual level, our growth culture is built on trust and collaboration. We wish to welcome you as a valuable member of our team. To enable impact, we believe in freedom and autonomy at the individual level at the same time as we encourage knowledge sharing, teamwork mentality, and a can-do attitude amongst our team members.
