What you'll do

The People & Culture Organization seeks a dynamic and experienced HR Professional to drive, shape and deliver our people strategy, as a key member of SAP Nordic & Baltics. This individual will act as the Head of People & Culture overseeing and consulting on people-related topics and your leadership will be essential to strengthen our inclusive culture. The Head of People & Culture ("HR Director") oversees HR matters in the Nordic & Baltics Market Unit (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Baltic states). They actively collaborate with employees and local and regional Senior Management in this role.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Represent the voice of HR in the country and act as Head of People & Culture in the Market Unit and in the respective countries.
  • Lead the People Agenda in the Nordic Market Unit through leading and coordinating the distributed Nordic P&C Team in a matrix setup.
  • Contribute as a member of the Market Unit Core Leadership Team, as well as a member of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden Local Leadership Teams.
  • Deliver an outstanding and innovative people experience by demonstrating empathy and emotional intelligence, including:
  • embracing the Global People Strategy.
  • branding SAP as the most attractive employer in the Country through an outstanding employee value proposition.
  • fostering an environment of belonging and inclusion.
  • Managing social partner relations in the countries, as needed.
  • Managing local, legal, regulatory policies, and compliance matters.
  • Embodying the importance of leadership and employee engagement for a hybrid workforce.
  • Acting as a link between social well-being, mental health, and business priorities.
  • Providing a flex work and a digital workplace experience that is simple, intuitive, and connected.
  • Strategically aligning with Board Area HRBP leads to ensure one voice to our business leaders.
  • Securing & developing SAP Culture and Values and acting as a cultural ambassador at all times.
  • Working with employee networks to maintain a permanent connection with employees and to understand their current needs and overall mood.
  • Acting as an interface for Global HR pillars (total rewards, talent attraction, SAP learning, people relations etc), key stakeholders such as the local communications team, facilities- and security representatives.
  • Collaborating with HR Directors in the EMEA region to drive regional projects within the area of People Experience.

What you bring

  • Relevant multi-year working experience within HR in a similar function.
  • Advanced degree such as M.Sc. or MBA in business sciences, management, or organizational psychology or similar.
  • Able to lead by influencing and possess strong negotiation skills.
  • Aptitude for transparently addressing and following up on feedback from employees and customers.
  • Outstanding communication and moderation skills, feeling comfortable being on stage for internal and external audiences (e.g. setting up all-employee meetings, mass communication, press).
  • Knowledge of local legislation and overall market conditions in the respective countries. Deep knowledge of employment legislation at least in one of the countries, and the ability to adopt knowledge from the other countries through working with local colleagues and external legal advisors.
  • Enthusiastic and proficient in leveraging social media for employee communication and engagement.
  • Approachable and enjoys receiving direct feedback, feeling motivated by appreciation or critique.
  • Project Management skills and a structured, strategic mindset.
  • English fluency, and knowledge of one or more Nordic languages are an advantage.
