Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational Biology: The Centre for Molecular Medicine Norway (NCMM), part of the Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine, is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Computational Biology & Gene Regulation group led by Anthony Mathelier and the Genomic Regulation for Precision Cancer Medicine Lab led by Alfonso Urbanucci. The position is for a two-year duration, starting as soon as possible in 2024.
Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational Biology & Gene Regulation

Location: Oslo Science Park, Oslo, Norway
- Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field obtained in the last 5 years or soon to be obtained.
- Strong programming skills and experience in machine learning.
- Proficiency in computational genomics data analysis.
- At least one first-author manuscript published or accepted in an international peer-reviewed journal.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate with researchers from diverse backgrounds.
Job Description: The selected candidate will contribute to two projects focusing on prostate cancer research funded by the Norwegian Cancer Society and the NCMM joint postdoctoral scheme. Responsibilities include conducting large-scale CRISPRi screening, analyzing clinical gene expression patterns, and co-supervising by Drs. Alfonso Urbanucci, Anthony Mathelier, and Roza Berhanu Lemma.
