Oslo, Oslo County, Norway Wolt Full time

The Operations Specialist is an important role in ensuring that we are able to achieve the needed supply activation and courier engagement in every city that we operate in. Having a regional organisational structure, you and the team are responsible for increasing courier activation and ensuring stable supply across 9 different markets. One of the key challenges of the role will be to bridge the gap between the Onboarding and Activation plans, unlocking activation in the early lifecycle stages of a courier joining Wolt. Additionally, ensuring good supply levels when and where needed will be critical, both through data analysis and clear communication with our courier partner community.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning and optimizing the courier early lifecycle activation journey, ensuring smooth onboarding and engagement at every stage of the lifecycle;
  • Designing and executing tailored activation strategies for our courier community;
  • Acting as the bridge between onboarding and activation, ensuring seamless transitions and reducing courier churn in the early lifecycle stages;
  • Developing and continuously improving standard operating procedures to enhance courier activation, motivation, and long-term retention;
  • Monitoring key performance metrics to understand activation drivers and iterating on strategies based on data insights;
  • Experimenting with new approaches to activation and engagement, leveraging creativity and data to drive results;
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with courier partners, using engaging and motivational touchpoints to encourage activity during critical times;
  • Staying agile and adaptable, adjusting strategies quickly based on external factors such as demand fluctuations, special events, seasonality, and market specific trends;
  • Leading innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in the courier activation framework, identifying gaps and implementing scalable solutions.
