Climate change is real. But so is the difference you can make.
Why compromise? Choose a career that's good for you AND the planet.
Are you looking to use your business and analytical skills to drive real change, and to support a team tackling one of the world's biggest challenges?
We're Carbon Limits, a dynamic climate consultancy based in the heart of Oslo. As we move to the next stage of our growth, we're putting in place the structures and processes that will ensure we continue to deliver the true impact that has secured our reputation as a world-leading consultancy in our niche.
In this role, you will be a 'force multiplier' for the business – giving the management and consultancy teams the support and analytical insight to make decisions, identify risks, and optimise resources.
It will be a busy and varied role, using your guru-level Excel skills and team-focused problem-solving approach to ensure our projects, resources, and market knowledge are aligned and optimised for success.
Responsibilities- Provide accurate, insightful business analysis that enables decision making, highlights risks, and optimises resources using our existing Excel tools – e.g. Company forecasting tools, KPIs, BD pipeline, workload forecasting, quarterly and annual financial reports, competitor analysis.
- Support Project Managers in monitoring and coordinating financial, operational, and administrative resources.
- Free up management and consultant time by taking on analytical or business operation and improvement tasks – e.g. management of IT services supplier.
These are only some of the areas you could work in. We are a small, growing business and have an entrepreneurial culture where you can explore your interests and build a unique career in a way you never could at larger companies.
We've built our success on the diversity of our team and our mutual love of learning and development, so you will have the real opportunity to create your ideal job.
About You- Excel 'guru' – someone who not only creates in-depth analysis and quickly identifies errors, but also understands the 'why' behind the numbers and connects this with the needs of the team and the business.
- Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (e.g. economics, engineering, business, etc).
- 0 to 5 years' post-university experience. It's likely you will have some relevant work experience in a consulting company (even if this is from internships), but we're interested in your skills and attitude, not the number of years on your CV.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Team player: You find joy and pride in helping others.
- Takes personal responsibility for outcomes.
- Adaptable. Happy working in a fast-changing environment.
- Meaningful Impact: Be part of a team that's making a real difference.
- Growth Opportunities: Leverage continuous learning and development opportunities to expand your skill set and responsibilities.
- Collaborative Environment: Work with a diverse and driven team.
- Work-Life Balance: Experience Norway's exceptional work-life balance, allowing time for family and your hobby.
If you're excited to contribute analytical expertise to climate change mitigation and are looking to grow within a supportive and innovative environment, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply using the "I'm interested" button, attaching your CV and university transcripts.
