Are you passionate about identity security and access management? Norwegian is looking for a IAM engineer who is ready to take the lead in development and solution implementation and assist with management and support.

In this role you will ensure that our IT solutions align seamlessly with our overarching strategy and architecture framework, providing critical support to core processes of Norwegian base IT Operation.

Your expertise will be key managing IT activities and building strong connections with business units, external partners, and the broader Norwegian IT community.

Your areas of responsibility and tasks:

  1. Development and debugging of logic: You are responsible for mapping and identifying weaknesses and areas for improvement in the implementations of IAM solutions.
  2. Solution implementation: You will assist with the implementation and adaptation of IAM solutions.
  3. Customer dialogue: You are responsible for communicating minor issues and solutions with the customer. You can translate problems and messages into technical requirements.
  4. Programming of IAM solutions: You will be responsible for developing adaptations to customer's IAM solutions.
  5. Workflows: You are responsible for developing and maintaining workflows related to customer's IAM solutions.
  6. Management and support: You are responsible for checking and investigating the customer's solution for possible issues and resolving these issues.

You will cooperate with and support teams, product owners, and customers and report issues and solutions to customers.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

  1. Hands-on experience with Okta and Microsoft
  2. Knowledge of HYPR
  3. A bachelor's degree in a relevant IT education.
  4. At least 1-2 years of experience as an IAM Consultant and have been involved in projects of different sizes and durations.
  5. Documented experience with IAM (both integration and security).
  6. Experience with customer dialogue.
  7. Fluent in written and spoken English.
  8. Comfortable dealing with complex issues and approach tasks analytically.
  9. Work purposefully and drivenly and thrive with independent and operational work.
  10. Solution-oriented, reliable, and quality-conscious.
  11. Approachable, structured, and precise.
  12. Collaborate well with others – and love to share your professional expertise.

Our Story

The Norwegian group is a leading Nordic aviation company, headquartered at Fornebu outside Oslo, Norway. The company has over 8,900 employees and owns two of the prominent airlines in the Nordics: Norwegian Air Shuttle and Widerøe's Flyveselskap. Widerøe was acquired by Norwegian in 2024, aiming to facilitate seamless air travel across the two airline's networks.

Norwegian Air Shuttle, the largest Norwegian airline with around 5,400 employees, operates an extensive route network connecting Nordic countries to key European destinations. In 2023, Norwegian carried over 20 million passengers and maintained a fleet of 87 Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

Widerøe's Flyveselskap, Norway's oldest airline, is Scandinavia's largest regional carrier. The airline has more than 3,500 employees. Mainly operating the short-runway airports in rural Norway, Widerøe operates several state contract routes (PSO routes) in addition to its own commercial network. In 2023, the airline had 3.3 million passengers and a fleet of 48 aircraft, including 45 Bombardier Dash 8's and three Embraer E190-E2's. Widerøe Ground Handling provides ground handling services at 41 Norwegian airports.

The Norwegian group has sustainability as a key priority and has committed to significantly reducing carbon emissions from its operations. Among numerous initiatives, the most noteworthy is the investment in production and use of fossil-free aviation fuel (SAF).
