You will be part of the Supply Chain team in Oslo, working both with ongoing Operations of existing products and ensuring success for New Product Introduction as a part of the Industrialization team. reMarkable has a global footprint, and you will contribute to development and securing operations with our contracted manufacturers and suppliers on the international arena. This position will require willingness to travel, as our manufacturing network spans across many different geographies.
As Supplier Quality Engineer you will
- Have overall responsibility for Supplier's Quality Management
- Oversee and ensure the quality of suppliers across our global supply chain
- Monitor and report supplier quality Performance at the Plan level
- Continuously improve reMarkable Supplier base
- Drive supplier qualification & performance
- Pilot the Supply Qualification Module, establish measurable performance metrics, and maintain a database to track and follow up on supplier performance
- Collaborate with partners to manage and refine the incoming inspection policy, facilitating coordination between suppliers and optimizing workflows
- Pilot the qualification through the Product Part Approval framework
- Support our EMS partners Manage the incoming inspection policy and optimize it
- Work with quality issue resolution
- Drive the containment, corrective and preventive actions to solve the technical part Quality issues at suppliers using the relevant methodologies from Quality toolbox
- Collaborate internally on process optimization

Experience that will support your success as Supplier Quality Engineer
- 5+ years of experience from high volume manufacturing industry e.g. consumer electronics, automation, energy management or similar
- Deep knowledge in Quality Management Tools (advanced problem solving, PPAP, continuous improvement, APQP, Lean, and statistical/data analytics)
- Quality and other Management Systems understanding: industry standards such as ISO 9001 and other relevant frameworks
- A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering, or in Quality Management & Manufacturing.
- DFx & FMEA knowledge
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication in English, in cross-cultural settings
It is also beneficial to have
- Experience working with Asian suppliers
- Agile Way of Working
- Experience with sustainability in Supply Chain
- Professional proficiency in other languages is a good advantage

- Wanted start date: ASAP - Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis
- 20% on-site presence at manufacturers is expected
