Microsoft Fabric Sr Developer / Architect – Digital (d/f/m)

As a Microsoft Fabric Data Architect, you would help Clients create an implementation roadmap for Microsoft Fabric and assist them in execution. This includes managing relationships with customers, Cognizant account managers, alliance partners (Microsoft), and other leaders.

The Team / Business Unit

About You:
Your focus will be on designing, describing, and managing tech engineering to help customers migrate to Microsoft Fabric architecture and roll out various components.

Your Key Result Areas:

1. Understanding current solution architecture based on customer existing and proposed goals (technology, economic, and functional) of migrating to Microsoft Fabric.
2. Collaborating with Microsoft Alliance and other project teams to understand best practices.
3. Executing use cases with Cognizant and client developers, taking overall architectural responsibility and leading tasks/use cases as needed.

About the Client and the Job Description
You will be working for large corporate clients in Oslo, primarily on Microsoft Azure. Your role would include:

1. Evaluating current Microsoft and Azure data infrastructure.
2. Working with the Microsoft team to create a roadmap for fabric.
3. Shortlisting use cases based on a business technology heat map.
4. Identifying pilot projects for demonstrating the technical and business functionality of Fabric.
5. Executing pilot projects as a senior developer along with client/Cognizant teams, with overall architectural responsibility, sometimes acting as Team Lead.

Required & Nice to Have Skills:
Must Haves:

• Production-grade experience as a Senior Developer in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, ADF / Power BI (at least one of them).
• While the role is for an architect cum Senior Developer, we welcome Senior Developers who have partially played the role of architects.

Nice to Have/Your Chance to Grow:

• Certification in MS Fabric (DP 600).
• Conceptual understanding of the data architecture landscape and experience implementing them on any platform (on-premise or cloud).
• Experience in other Data Engineering tools.
• Experience in Data Architecture in other platforms, especially Snowflake.
• Experience in handling data movement in batch and streaming.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment processes.
• Industry understanding of Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy & Utilities.
• Norwegian language skills (B1 or above).
