About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in South Norway. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing business relationships with opticians, regional department stores, and independent customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new customer opportunities and suitability for launching new brands/collections.
- Maintain brand integrity by ensuring products are distributed through suitable channels.
- Research and target new customers to drive sales growth.
- Plan and execute effective visit strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and deliver presentations to showcase new collections.
- Provide training to retailer's sales staff on brand, products, and marketing activities.
- Ensure stock levels meet customer demands and support stock management processes.
- Collaborate with trade marketing teams to implement trade marketing activities and maximize sell-out.
- Gather sell-out reports from customers and manage orders with customer services.
- Manage in-store visual merchandising and point-of-sale displays to align with Kering distribution strategy.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field sales roles with a proven track record in fashion/accessories/lifestyle/cosmetics or high-end consumer goods.
- Fashion industry experience is an advantage but not required.
- Field-based role requiring up to 80% travel.
- Clean driving license is essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Sales-driven mindset with ability to expand business and identify new opportunities.
- Confident in dealing with customers and managing all aspects of the account.
- Negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and improve sales processes.
