The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering/CTO to join our team and help drive our vision for the future of indoor navigation. As a key member of our Management team, you will be responsible for leading our Engineering Department, overseeing the development of our indoor mapping and navigation solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Engineering Department, comprising three teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects
- Developing and implementing technical strategies to drive innovation and growth
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and foster a collaborative work environment
- Coaching and mentoring Team Leads and engineers to grow technically and professionally
- Identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and making informed decisions about our tech stack
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a similar technical leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong technical expertise, with a deep understanding of software development, architecture, and engineering principles
- Experience working in an agile environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team of engineers, with a focus on growth and development
