About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team at DOF. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical interface between Project, Construction, and Marine personnel on the vessel.
  • Identify problem areas and implement improvements to increase efficiency in the installation process.
  • Ensure that engineering documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures and guidelines for offshore operations.
Requirements
  • Relevant university degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the offshore/subsea sector, preferably in IMR projects.
  • Experience in procedure writing and mobilization/demobilization of construction vessels.
  • Effective communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbally and written.
  • Experience with planning and execution of IMR and SURF operations on the Norwegian continental shelf.
  • Experience mentoring engineering personnel is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to resolving problems in a professional and articulate manner.
