Job Title: Manager, Electric and Hybrid Project Delivery
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Electric and Hybrid Project Delivery to lead our team of professionals in delivering electric and hybrid solutions for the marine industry. As a key member of our Ship Electrification Solutions team, you will be responsible for overseeing the global portfolio of battery hybrid and full electric solutions to both newbuild ships and retrofit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the assigned team of project managers, document controllers, and project support functions
- Develop and implement project management methodologies and processes to ensure customer focus and successful project delivery
- Maintain a high degree of communication with the team to execute on the Wärtsilä and SES strategy
- Oversee the project management function in SES by defining ways of working in the project delivery manual and facilitating follow-up of key PM metrics
- Manage and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders from suppliers to customers
- Actively participate in sales support, bid work, and customer visits
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an electrical, systems, or automation field
- Experience with integrating marine electrical and automation systems
- Experience as a project manager
- Good business sense
- Understanding of key project methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMBoK
- Good language skills in both spoken and written English
- Language skills in Norwegian are a benefit but not required
