Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Material Control Professional to join our team in Norway. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing materials, implementing process improvements, and reducing costs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve material control processes and reduce costs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for material control topics for all Siemens projects and the logistics contractor.
  • Coordinate material movements, returns, and reworks in various projects.
  • Manage deviations for in- and outbound shipments and storage.
  • Process returns and related shipment bookings.
  • Coordinate and execute inventory counts in all storage locations.
  • Ensure compliance with Siemens HSE standards and quality-related topics.
Requirements:
  • Education within supply chain management (Bachelor/Master).
  • Proven experience in material control.
  • Experience with process improvements and implementations.
  • Ability to travel to central warehouse and regional warehouses as required.
  • Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English.
