Senior Trade Compliance Specialist

As a Senior Trade Compliance Specialist, you'll be part of our Global Logistics Services team, working closely with international trade experts to ensure seamless import/export operations across regions. Your expertise in trade compliance processes will be crucial in driving business optimization and efficiency opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain knowledge of world-class import/export practices for translation to business optimization and efficiency opportunities.
- Provide strategic and tactical stewardship for global trade compliance systems and processes to assigned markets, partners, and stakeholders.
- Own policies, standards, and global import/export processes while working towards continuous improvements and driving best practices.
- Drive to 100% compliance with laws and regulations for import/export under a LEAN mindset.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Trade, Global Tax, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 5 years of experience in an import/export role with knowledge of trade compliance processes and the interplay with global supply chain.
- International trade business acumen including tariff classifications, customs valuation, license management, preferential origin determination, and free trade agreements background.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience in ERP trade data maintenance (HS Classifications), Sanctioned Party List Screening, and import/export compliance program management.
