This position aligns with the Experience Services Platform, which is responsible for food service programs at our defined client portfolio. As the Food Services Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the food services program, including micro markets, conference centers, hospitality, catering, office, coffee, and beverage service, as well as vending.

The primary responsibility is to ensure the program's delivery meets the client's desired outcomes and exceeds their expectations. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with clients at various levels within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee Food Service operations at assigned locations and activities, including third-party service contractors.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all food service-related items.
  • Establish and maintain a sound Food Services management program, ensuring appropriate staffing according to client operating days.
  • Coordinate catering and hospitality needs for designated client business events located within select workplaces.
  • Ensure that the food program complies with local safety and health requirements regarding transportation, handling, preparation, and service.
  • Collaborate with vendors to design and implement a comprehensive culinary-based nutrition and wellness program, including awareness events, classes, and demonstrations.
  • Monitor and manage spend and financials related to Food Services programs, developing recommendations and strategies for the client to meet budget plans.
  • Anticipate and respond to Client needs and concerns, ensuring no safety or security incidents.
  • Serve as the point of contact for client escalations on inquiries and issues related to the services.
  • Develop procedures and audits to identify and escalate risks and issues.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues (audit findings, client complaints, material vendor service issues, information security issues, any impact to KPIs).
  • Develop and manage client relationships, ensuring that expected service levels are achieved.
  • Comply with all requirements of the client contract and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensure the delivery of operational requirements according to the client scope of works across sites.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and performance measures to simplify work methods, improve systems reliability, and enhance consistency.
  • Drive Client-specific initiatives such as technology rollouts, benchmarking, best practices, etc.
  • Ensure operations are aligned with financial processes and controls are adhered to achieve good financial management.
  • Ensure compliance with JLL and client Health, Safety, Environment, and Risk Management policies and procedures.
  • Able to scale a food service operation both globally, regionally, and locally.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five to ten years of progressive experience in foodservice/hospitality management experience.
  • Proficient communication skills in both French & English.
  • Ability to work with clients at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong vendor management experience. Must have strong analytical skills.
  • Strong background in a leadership role with exposure to contract management, customer service, and food services.
  • Exhibits strong communication, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
  • Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
