Welding Manufacturing Engineer Role

Job Summary:

TechnipFMC is seeking a skilled Welding Manufacturing Engineer to support the establishment of manufacturing processes, improve process efficiency, and troubleshoot daily production activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of small bore tube welding and experience with Subsea Distribution products.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement manufacturing processes for small bore tube welding.
  2. Collaborate with the global engineering team to manage quality notifications, procedural updates, and design reviews.
  3. Review and analyze in-house raw material test reports and supplier reports.
  4. Optimize welding processes and take ownership of SSD products.
  5. Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure raw material requirements and execution strategies are met.

Requirements:
  1. Must possess a clear understanding of general math and the ability to read, write, and comprehend English and Hindi.
  2. Ability to comprehend technical drawings, BOM, operation and maintenance procedures, quality and safety documents.
  3. Must be well-versed with small bore tube welding process.
  4. Familiar with Subsea distribution products (UTA, Cobra head, Logic cap, HDM, SDU).
  5. Familiar with API and ASTM codes.
  6. Familiar with pressure codes and standards.
  7. Thorough understanding of Subsea distribution product line.
  8. Knowledge on Assembly and testing of subsea distribution product line.
  9. Clear understanding and working experience with measuring and monitoring tools.
  10. Exposure to shop floor environment is mandatory.
  11. Clear application understanding of heavy-duty hydraulic equipment.
  12. Knowledge on PLC setup and automation will be considered an additional advantage.
  13. Must be trained on operating overhead crane.
  14. Operating knowledge (with Valid License) of forklift would be an added advantage.
  15. Aware of Industrial safety standards.
  16. Ability to perform dimensional inspection for heavyweight oil and gas equipment would be an added advantage.
  17. Working knowledge of SAP roles for a process/manufacturing engineer.
  18. Sound knowledge about material handling and Assembly & Pressure Testing process.
  19. Working knowledge about lean implementation, VSM's, and shop floor digitization.
  20. Bachelor's degree with 5 years of work experience in the industry or having relevant work experience of 8 years in the industry with a diploma.
