Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrument Technician to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing equipment at customer premises, providing technical support, and assisting the sales team and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service equipment at customer sites
  • Attend trade shows and events as required
  • Present instruments and equipment to customers and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers
  • Assist in the marketing of equipment and services
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and regulations
  • Protect the health and safety of visitors, contractors, and external providers
  • Identify and report hazards, risks, and concerns
  • Comply with local PPE requirements
  • Work in line with environmental and energy policies
Requirements
  • Suitable technical education and experience as a service technician
  • Knowledge and use of diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English
  • Computer and network skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Highly adaptable and quick to learn
  • Ability to work in a close-knit team environment
  • Well-organized with the ability to plan and manage own workload
  • Full clean driving license
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the optics and ophthalmology market, including hospital and clinical environments
  • Knowledge of EssilorLuxottica diagnostic equipment
  • BSc. Optometry or Diploma in Optometry would be advantageous
