Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Techconsult AS. As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and following up on instrumentation packages and systems for our clients in the wind and oil and gas industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Coordination: Design and coordinate instrumentation packages and systems to meet client requirements.
  2. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  3. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with instrument vendors and ensure that vendor information is communicated to the project team.
  4. Documentation: Prepare and complete engineering documents and data registers.
  5. Interface Management: Interface with other disciplines and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as instrumentation engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in field instrumentation and tube & fittings design/specification in wind or greenfield offshore oil and gas.
  3. Skills: Extensive knowledge of instrumentation design according to relevant standards, such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, and IEC. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
