Fleet Optimisation Group Overview

The Fleet Optimisation group focuses on delivering high-value applications to the Merchant Marine and Cruise segments. Our applications include nautical, technical performance, and voyage/machinery optimisers, complementing our digital services in Marine Power.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth through active business hunting, reducing vessel churn, and upselling in existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams and internal stakeholders to turn leads into prospects, provide consultative advice, create quotations, and close deals.
  • Work with Wärtsilä Marine Power colleagues to strengthen the value proposition of Fleet Optimisation products and vice versa.
  • Align with Go-To-Market initiatives to launch new Optimisation services and life cycle management/performance agreement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Relevant education and experience in software/digital markets, with a proven track record in driving sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of markets and awareness of cultural diversity.
  • Strong customer focus and capability of building strategic relationships.
  • Good knowledge of Wärtsilä products and solutions.
  • Strong business and results-orientation.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
