Job Description

Role Overview

This role will serve as a key technical focal point for products manufactured at our cable production facility in Drammen, Norway. You will be responsible for impacting product development efforts, liaising between R&D and sales teams, and managing the product life cycle to ensure our offerings align with market needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical expert for NEK606 products in Drammen, overseeing product offerings as part of the sales team.
  • Act as the interface between R&D and sales to implement new and relevant products.
  • Proactively develop product/service concepts with customers to support business growth.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities, ensuring a competitive product portfolio.
  • Provide technical support during bidding activities, including data book preparation, quotation support, and market intelligence.
  • Offer technical sales support, answering customer inquiries and handling capability-related questions.
  • Conduct product training for sales teams and customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • An educational background in technical or commercial fields, preferably as an engineer or with a strong technical interest.
  • Prior experience in installation or engineering within the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
  • Proven experience in product management throughout the entire product life cycle, ideally in an industrial setting.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
