About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tunnel Design Manager to join our team at Human AS. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for leading international design and project teams on large-scale tunnel projects in Norway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ledelse av internasjonale design- / prosjekteringsteam: You will lead a multidisciplinary design team working on tunnels and underground structure projects in Norway. This includes roles such as Tunnel Lead Engineer, Tunnel Design Manager, or Project Manager.
  • Du vil delta i design- / prosjekteringsaktiviteter gjennom hele prosjektets livssyklus, fra planlegging og anbudsfase til detaljert design, konstruksjonsdesign og teknisk støtte under byggefasen. Dette innebærer utarbeidelse av tekniske rapporter, kvalitetskontroll samt ledelse, koordinering og veiledning av ingeniører, tegnere og modellører innenfor et designteam.
  • Du vil gi teknisk støtte til lederen for forretningsutvikling i møter med potensielle kunder og partnere, for å styrke Human AS sitt nettverk og markedsmuligheter i Norge. Dette inkluderer deltakelse i kommersielle møter og forberedelse av markedsføringspresentasjoner.
  • Du vil være ansvarlig for å utarbeide anbudsdokumentasjon, med fokus på teknisk dokumentasjon med mere.
  • Du vil veilede, støtte og gi retningslinjer til yngre kolleger innen tunnel- og geoteknisk design / prosjektering, slik at de kan utvikle seg faglig.
  • Minimum 10 års erfaring med tunneldesign / -prosjektering hvorav minimum 5 års erfaring med tunneldesign / -prosjektering i norske prosjekter i roller som Tunnel Lead Engineer, Tunnel Design Manager eller Project Manager.
  • Du har kunnskap om numerisk modellering (RS2, PLAXIS e.l.) og bruk av annen typisk programvare relatert til tunell design som RocScience e.l.
  • Ønske og vilje til å bidra til utvikling av vår virksomhet innen tunell design og tunell konstruksjon, samt innen geologi og geoteknisk rådgivning.
  • Du trives med en agil hverdag hvor ikke to dager er like.
  • Evne til å arbeide selvstendig og i team, samt erfaring med å jobbe i design-team og lede et slikt team.
  • Du er initiativrik, nysgjerrig og løsningsorientert, en tydelig lagspiller og etisk bevisst.
  • Gode kommunikasjonsevner på norsk og engelsk, både skriftlig og muntlig (B2 eller høyere på begge språk).

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in tunnel design and project management, with at least 5 years of experience in Norwegian projects.
  • Knowledge of numerical modeling (RS2, PLAXIS, etc.) and typical software related to tunnel design (RocScience, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with experience in leading design teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken (B2 or higher on both languages).
